Downstream of the flying cut-off unit the tubes are taken from a run-out conveyor and transferred to a tube adjustment system which consists for example of belt conveyors, collecting troughs, transverse transport or test- and cleaning-systems. Depending on the application range of the tube attention is given to gentle surface treatment and coordinated timing. Available versions might be:
- Run-out conveyor, optionally with tube acceleration
- Belt conveyors for prime and bad tubes
- Collecting troughs, in changing troughs execution
- Intermediate troughs for non-destructive tested tubes
- Sample taking systems for metallographic or quality examinations
- Emulsion blow-out station
- Internal chip blow-out or cooling section
- Internal chip removal
- Multi-head saws for smaller arrangement of the machine tube lengths
- Stacking and bundling systems for round, rectangular, square or hexagonal tubes
